Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Specification Technologist to join their business.
* Generate and maintain accurate finished product specifications, meeting diverse customer requirements.
* Manage the entire specification process, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional attention to detail.
* Act as the first point of contact for handling customer specification-related queries.
* Collaborate closely with Technical/Quality teams, providing essential support and expertise.
* Maintain business certifications and customer approvals, including BRC Global Food Safety Initiative and Organic Certification, to uphold our commitment to quality.
* Uphold our Quality Management System to preserve the safety, legality, and quality of our products.
* Utilise your technical expertise to ensure compliance with legal requirements in the supplier approval process.
Key Attributes:
* Exceptional organisational skills, adept at planning and prioritising tasks effectively.
* Strong relationship-building skills, capable of working seamlessly within a team.
* Collaborate with various departments internally and externally to gather data for comprehensive specifications.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel; knowledge of Sage 200 is desirable.
