We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Finance Assistant to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone starting out in finance or part-qualified and looking to further their career. The position involves a variety of tasks including invoicing, payment chasing, and general administrative duties, providing a great opportunity to gain comprehensive experience in financial operations.
Day-to-day of the role:- Invoicing customers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Chasing for payments as needed.
- Processing customer deductions and raising, posting credit notes.
- Supporting the purchase ledger.
- Performing general administrative duties.
- Providing holiday and absence cover for other team members.
- Supporting other members of the finance team with various processes as required.
- Ideal for someone beginning their career in finance or part-qualified (AAT) and aspiring to qualify.
- Previous experience in a finance role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
