We are seeking a dedicated SEND Outreach Worker to provide one-to-one support and make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and has a strong desire to help students achieve their full potential.

Day to day of the role:

  • Deliver one-to-one support to students with SEND, both within classroom settings and through external activities.
  • Develop and implement individual learning plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the student’s education.
  • Regularly monitor and report on the student’s progress, adapting strategies as needed to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in SEND education.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Special Education or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEND.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students to overcome educational challenges.
  • Must possess a current DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
