Responsibilities:
* Be a hands-on leader, able to lead a team of multi-skilled technicians, providing guidance and assigning tasks.
* Be able to perform 1 to 1s and appraisals with Technicians
* Oversee both short-term and long-term maintenance goals for the site.
* Take responsibility for the site's maintenance budget, ensuring alignment with the site's business and development plans.
* Coordinate, plan, and collaborate with contractors coming onto site.
* Support the implementation of the SHE management system, with a strong focus on safety; consistently follow and enforce safety protocols.
Requirements:
* Ideally be a time-served apprenticeship.
* Be confident and proficient in using CMMS systems.
* Have experience as a Team Leader/Maintenance Manager in power generation/utility
* Demonstrate strong people management abilities.
* Confident communication skills is a must.
