Job Title: Contract Manager
Location: Dover (Hybrid - 2-3 days on-site)
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance (£7,020) + Family Medical Cover + 25 Days Holiday (+ Birthday Off)


Our client is a leading infrastructure provider, working across multiple sectors, including Defence, Water, and Civil Engineering. We are currently seeking a Contract Manager to join our team, overseeing long-term framework projects in Dover, with additional involvement in Thames Water works in the future.


Role Overview
As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and capital works, ensuring project delivery aligns with contractual, financial, and stakeholder expectations. The role will be Dover-focused (60-70%) and will also cover additional projects within the Defence and adjacent markets, requiring experience in NEC contracts, heavy civils, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the delivery of maintenance and capital works within the Dover framework.
Ensure compliance with NEC contracts, managing risks, change control, and commercial performance.
Liaise with stakeholders, including end clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Provide commercial and technical oversight, working closely with project teams.
Support growth and development within the maintenance (13 people) and capital works (8 people) teams, both set to expand this year.
Contribute to the delivery of Thames Water projects as the framework develops.
Oversee work on MOD sites, ensuring compliance with security and safety standards.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.

Key Requirements
Engineering background (ideal but not essential)

NEC contract experience is essential

Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills

Heavy civils experience is highly desirable

Experience working with end clients and key stakeholders

UK National with, or eligible for, security clearance (MOD site work required)
