Lifting Equipment Engineer

Our client, is seeking an enthusiastic Lifting Equipment Engineer to join their growing team!

Lifting Equipment Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out servicing, repair and LOLER on lifting equipment at customer sites and at the workshop
  • Carry out repairs based upon a thorough examination of the lifting equipment
  • Complete all the necessary associated paperwork in accordance with current legislation and company procedures
  • Adhere Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company policies

The ideal Lifting Equipment Engineer will:

  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) working as an engineer, with knowledge of diagnosing and repairing of faults with a good understanding of both LOLER and PUWER
  • Background of working in electrical and/or mechanical engineering with a good understanding of general engineering fundamentals
  • Current UK driving licence
  • LEEA and working at height qualifications (Desirable)
  • working to risk assessments and method statements
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights
  • Ability to work the required hours and willing to work on-site and overtime

Working Hours + Benefits:

  • Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
  • Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
  • Access to a company van, tools and mobile phone
  • 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Company contributed government pension scheme
