NXTGEN are delighted to be working with a fantastic, highly successful business based in North Norfolk who are seeking an experienced Finance controller to come in and hit the ground running. As Finance Controller, you will be asked to review the current financial policies, processes and reporting templates with the idea to implement new working functions and efficiencies across the business. This role has been created to ensure a smooth running of the finance function. You will play a key role in business partnering with the SLT across the business providing key financial insight to board. This role will also have a strong focus on the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights for management and private equity stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights for management and private equity stakeholders
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial risk forecasting and templates
- Providing accurate and timely reports
- Help to develop new and existing services and resources
- FP&A is a strong focus- process improvement and growth opportunities.
- Various other ad-hoc finance related duties as asked of you by the CEO
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA. You must have proven working experience in a Finance Controller position. Strong Excel skills an essential skill and will be needed for this opportunity. Our client will be looking for a confident and bright candidate for this role as you will be working with senior management and will play an essential role in the SLT.
