About the Role:We are seeking an exceptional Nursing Home Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our high-quality care home. With a passion for delivering outstanding care and a commitment to driving excellence, you will ensure the home meets regulatory standards while fostering a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to a team of dedicated care professionals, ensuring high standards of care are delivered consistently.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC and other relevant bodies, ensuring exceptional inspection outcomes.
- Drive occupancy levels and financial performance while keeping care quality and resident satisfaction as top priorities.
- Implement effective care planning, monitoring, and evaluation systems to meet residents' individual needs.
- Lead on safeguarding, risk management, and health and safety within the home.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of openness and trust.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
About You:The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience managing a nursing or residential care home.
- A track record of improving and maintaining high standards of care, including successful CQC inspections.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A sound understanding of financial management within a care home setting.
- RGN or RMN qualification (preferred but not essential).
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards).
- A passion for person-centered care and a drive to achieve outstanding outcomes for residents.
