Our client is a prestigious and leading manufacturer of chocolate and confectionery based in Fakenham, due to their continued development and growth they are seeking to employ Process Operatives (Machine Operatives) to start asap.
On-going contract potentially leading to permanent for the right contract.
Shifts available:
4 on 4 off Days – 6am – 6pm     -   £12.50 per hour
4 on 4 off Nights – 6pm – 6am -  £13.75 per hour
Reporting directly to the Area Shift Manager/Shift Manager.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
Operating the machines to the required standards and specifications that are required for the product.
Ensuring that the product is up to the correct standards and specifications.
Attaining production and quality targets set out for each product.
Measuring, recording, and taking necessary actions with regard to quality and weight checks.
Ensuring that the machines are operated in compliance with the controlled document and health and safety policies.
Ensuring that the machines are changed over correctly and in accordance to the planned change over time.
Managing/Monitoring usage of chocolate from tempering units.
Ensure cooling tunnel is ran within machine specification.
Training, coaching, and motivating the Manufacturing operatives and trainee machine operators.
Interpreting and following recipes and machine set up instructions.
Ensuring that any adjustments are recorded and reported to the Technician.
Any other duties for which the job holder has been trained.
Grade 6 Process Operatives to cover Cell Leader duties as required.
