Overview:
Our client is on the lookout for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Fakenham.
Although the role is mainly Mechanical, some Electrical experience and knowledge is required (17th or 18th Edition preferred - boiler experience would be perfect).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and systems to avoid breakdowns.
- Perform regular inspections to check for wear and tear, lubrication needs, and other maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation.
- Diagnose mechanical failures in equipment and machinery, determine the cause of the problem, and quickly implement repairs to minimise downtime.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts, including bearings, motors, pumps, conveyors, and other mechanical components.
Requirements for the role of Maintenance Engineer:
- C&G - either electrical or mechanical
- Apprenticeship preferred
