We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a top-performing SEN provider in Fakenham, working full-time with KS4 students with learning disabilities. This role is perfect for a passionate educator ready to inspire and make a difference in students' lives.
Responsibilities
- Teach KS4 students across the curriculum, tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Inspire students to achieve and exceed expectations in their academic and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement personalised learning plans
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
- Maintain a calm, patient, and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during school activities
Requirements:
- QTS is preferred but not required; experienced SEN teachers without QTS are encouraged to apply
- Substantial in-school experience, particularly with students with learning disabilities
- A calm, patient, and approachable attitude, with strong communication skills
- Ability to teach a range of subjects and adapt lessons to meet individual needs
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive education
