Mentorship

This role in particular reports to a fantastic Finance Manager with a dotted line to a superb Head of Finance, both of who are extremely passionate about investing time, capacity and resources to ensure finance professionals reach their full potential - this is demonstrated through the role arising due to an internal promotion.

The Role

The position of Head Office Accountant will support a group with both domestic and international entities. The role is key to support operations, and ensuring a robust month-end close, whilst also getting the opportunity to be involved in several high profile global projects. The key components of the role will include:

• Business partnering with stakeholders both on-site, and other sites
• Involvement in high profile projects such as continuous improvement, systems developments, automation etc.
• Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
• Analysing and reporting of costs, overheads, KPI’s etc
• Owning of international company transactions
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Overseeing robust month-end close - accruals, prepayments, journals

The position of Head Office Accountant is based close to Falkirk and easily commutable from Falkirk, Grangemouth, Stirling, Larbert, Alloa, Fife, Cumbernauld, West Lothian, Edinburgh, Lanarkshire. Furthermore, the business has an exceptional hybrid/flexible working policy with only 2 days required in the office & a half-day finish on a Friday. The role will also offer:
