MAC Recruit Group Accountancy & Finance (Permanent) Division are excited to be partnering with a well-established organisation in Falkirk as they seek to appoint a part-time Finance Assistanton a permanent, 25-hour per week basis. The role offers a competitive salary of circa 27,000 pro-rata.
With a strong presence in their industry and a commitment to continued growth, our client offers a supportive environment where the successful candidate will play a key role in the finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring the smooth running of the purchase & sales ledger processes, as well as assisting with the budgeting process and other ad hoc duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- High volume processing of supplier invoices and customer invoices
- Maintaining and managing purchase and sales ledger
- Bank reconciliations and cash allocations
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Managing general finance administration and ad hoc tasks as required
Experience/Qualifications:
- Strong experience in a similar role, with emphasis on purchase & sales ledger, invoicing, and cash allocation
- Experience with bank reconciliations and budget assistance
- Good understanding of accounting processes and strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong IT literacy, particularly with accounting software
This part-time position offers a salary of circa 27,000 pro-rata, along with an excellent working environment.
