Freelance Site Engineer – Immediate Start

Location: Central Belt
Duration: 2–3 weeks

We are keen to speak with Freelance Site Engineers looking for their next opportunity.

Are you an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering projects, particularly within the water sector? Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Site Engineer for an immediate start on a deep-drainage project in the Central Belt for a 2–3 week period.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site inspections.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Control and record-keeping.
  • Setting out on-site.
  • Monitoring work and ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintaining safety standards and adhering to protocols.

 What to Expect:

  • Immediate start date.
  • Initial 2–3 week contract.
  • Monday – Friday working hours.
  • £27 – £28 per hour (gross), dependent on experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working on civil engineering projects, particularly deep drainage.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Valid CSCS card (essential).
