Our client is a leading provider of 1st Class Engineering Services, delivering high-quality solutions across the Healthcare, Education, Retail, and Commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team.
The Role
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical building services projects across commercial and industrial sectors. This is a full-time, office-based role, with site visits as required.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing detailed mechanical estimates for commercial and industrial projects
Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to assess project requirements
Sourcing and negotiating competitive supplier and subcontractor prices
Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
Collaborating with the wider project team, including engineers and project managers, to ensure competitive and accurate pricing
Attending client meetings and site visits to assess project scope and requirements
Ensuring estimates comply with industry regulations and company standards
What We're Looking For
Recognised mechanical apprenticeship (or equivalent qualification)
5+ years' experience in an estimating role within the mechanical building services industry
