Job Advert: Site Agent – Major Civils Contractor
Are you an experienced Site Agent looking for your next challenge with a leading civil engineering contractor? Our client has priced double the amount of work in 2024 compared to 2023, creating a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join their team.
The Role
This is a long-term position on a multi-year, multi-million-pound framework, delivering projects ranging from £50,000 to £4,000,000. As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil engineering works, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing site operations and ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards
- Managing health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Leading and motivating site teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
- Ensuring efficient cost control, procurement, and programme management
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Site Agent role within civil engineering
- Must has SSSTS or higher
- Ability to stay away from home as required
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
