Position: Electronics Repair Technician

Location: Falkirk

Are you passionate about electronics and enjoy tackling new challenges? Our client is looking for an Electronics Repair Technician to join their team, primarily based in their workshop. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day repair of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), inverters, PLCs, and HMIs from a wide range of manufacturers. With a diverse customer base, you'll also have the opportunity to work on unique and interesting repair projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and fault-find on PCBs and associated equipment.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and drawings.
  • Use test equipment to identify and diagnose faulty components.
  • Replace electronic components and perform power tests to ensure successful repairs.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in an electronics repair role.
  • Strong understanding of electronic repair tools and equipment.
  • Ability to follow and interpret electronic schematics.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with the Arduino platform, including programming and design.
  • Familiarity with electrical design software.
  • Ability to build and troubleshoot PCs and other computer equipment.
