We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Industrial and Manufacturing sectors to lead our Engineering & Manufacturing department. The successful applicant will demonstrate a depth of knowledge in electrical systems and machinery, and be capable of ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Description

  • Develop, test and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems.
  • Design electrical systems and products, considering the cost, quality, and performance requirements.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Strong electrical knowledge, including three-phase/single-phase power supplies, motor control (VSDs, soft starters), and panel maintenance.
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA, HMI systems, instrumentation, and fault analysis using schematic diagrams.
  • Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, 'live work,' and working with industrial equipment (balers, conveyors, generators, motors) while adhering to 18th Edition standards.

Profile

A successful Electrical Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of Electrical Design Software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to project manage and multitask.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of design and visualisation software.
  • The ability to work in a team and individually.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
