We are looking for a skilled 360 Excavator Operator to join our team, working Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required as part of an on-call rota. The ideal candidate will have a valid 360 Excavator ticket and the following qualifications and experience:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the 360 Excavator safely for excavation tasks, including pipe repairs, backfilling, and reinstatement.
- Work on projects with local councils to repair fresh water supply pipes.
- Perform cat scanning and other excavation-related tasks.
- Follow health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with client processes.
- Complete daily paperwork (job sheets, risk assessments, plant sheets, driver checks) using a company-provided device (iPad/Tablet/Phone).
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications for excavation work.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota (evenings and weekends).
The Ideal Candidate:
- Good understanding of safe working practices.
- Strong communication skills for working with clients and the team.
- Must have a valid 360 Excavator ticket.
- Full driving licence.
- CSCS card.
- Safety certifications (Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Abrasives, etc.).
- Confined Space entry certification.
- Doms & Water Hygiene training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
