The role has come about due to a significant growth within the organisation and the positive message is that this is due to continue for a significant time to come. The role will report into the head of finance and will be responsible for a small finance team

The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to provide real time financial information to the business on a specific product/service that they provide to their customers. The role will have multiple cost inputs which need to be re-billed to clients along with providing high levels of service and delivery.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;Detailed margin analysis of forecasts versus actuals. Responsibility for month end close process with a view to providing the corporate finance team with accurate divisional information for group consolidations. Monitor key financial performance indicators and report on a monthly basis to prevent financial anomalies and potential threats. Maintenance of invoicing process and assurance that time and materials are appropriately billed. Flash reporting of contract profitability and business support for new proposals/bids.

The RequirementsIdeally we are looking for a fully qualified accountant with experience within either the manufacturing or product service industry. We seek applicants who have experience of managing a small team and who are looking to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment. There will be occasions where travel within the UK is required (5% approximately), so there needs to be an ability to do so. We are looking for applicants who are proactive, dedicated and self-motivated.
