4 Day Shift Pattern (7am-7pm)

A leading solutions provider in the energy sector is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the Falkirk area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to maintain and repair cutting-edge recycling machinery and equipment. The position operates on a rotating 4-day on, 4-day off shift pattern (7am to 7pm), with occasional callouts. Permanent contracts may be offered based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and respond quickly to machinery breakdowns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean methodologies.
  • Ensure safe working practices and collaborate effectively with contractors.
  • Maintain critical plant equipment, including conveyors, generators, compressors, and pumps.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults, providing efficient and cost-effective solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in electrical, control, or plant engineering.
  • Excellent fault diagnosis and maintenance/repair skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Computer literate and capable of using relevant maintenance systems.
