Due to continued growth at our client based in Falkirk, we are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Machine Operative with a Forklift Truck (FLT) license to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment on a temp to perm basis.
Role Overview:
As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of machines and equipment, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also be required to operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to assist with material handling and ensure smooth production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload materials using a Forklift Truck (FLT).
- Monitor production lines to ensure smooth operation and identify any issues.
- Perform routine checks on machinery to ensure they are in good working order.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Report any faults or issues with machinery to the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and materials used.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT license (Counterbalance)
- Previous experience in machine operation or a similar role is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexible and reliable with the ability to work various shifts.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Shift pattern will be Tuesday to Friday day shift 6am - 4pm and Tuesday to Friday night shift 4pm-3am on rotational pattern.
