Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Roofer with expertise in slate roofing to tackle a large project.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in roofing and the ability to handle slate roofing projects with precision and professionalism.We engage roofers on a project-by-project basis, offering fixed pricing for each individual job. With multiple roofing projects currently in the pipeline, we are ideally seeking a professional who is interested in taking on additional assignments as they become available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain slate roofing systems to a high standard.
- Conduct roof inspections to assess and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide your own tools and transportation to the job site in Falkirk.
Requirements:
- Essential: Public liability insurance (must be active and valid).
- Essential: Proven experience as a roofer specialising in slate roofs (this is not a labourer position).
- Proficiency in using roofing tools and materials related to slate work.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
