About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Falmouth team. You'll oversee the maintenance, installation, and modification of electrical systems on offshore rigs, supervising a team of electricians and supporting offshore operations. This role includes both office-based duties and occasional international travel to assist with project-related work, including installations, audits, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the electrical team in maintaining and operating offshore rigs and associated systems, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with maintenance schedules.
  • Support design and engineering teams on new builds and modifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults remotely and assist with performance reviews, audits, and training.
  • Work with external parties, including manufacturers and technical support, to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Assist with the preparation of electrical schematics and work on control systems and PLCs when necessary.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A qualified electrician with significant experience in an industrial or marine environment.
  • Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, motors, generators, electrical control systems, and fault finding.
  • Experience leading teams, mentoring, and project planning.
  • Proficient in CAD software, with basic computer skills for design support.
  • Desirable qualifications include City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical Studies, 18th Edition, and C&G 2391.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel when needed.
