Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing / Industrial)

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing, industrial, forces or similar background with an electrical qualification looking for a varied role where every day is different, with ongoing training on bespoke machinery where you can progress as a technical expert within maintenance?

On offer is the opportunity to join a rapidly expanding food manufacturer on a Weekday Afternoon Shift offering a diverse and challenging role working on a range of old and new machinery on site.

In this role you will be performing reactive and planned maintenance on both electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth running of the production facility.

With further training given to fill in skill gaps, you may be working on gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, pneumatics, PLCs, relays, hydraulics, and compressors, whilst also doing fabrication and building fabric work when needed.

This company have been operating for over 70 years and are an instantly recognisable Cornish brand. They pride themselves on the quality of their produce and their innovative approach to their niche in the food industry. You will be working in a close-knit team of highly skilled engineers supporting a production facility of over 100 employees.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer who wants to get involved in a huge variety of equipment and machinery, allowing them to expand their maintenance knowledge and become a rounded engineer.

The Role:

  • Preventative and reactive maintenance in a FMCG environment
  • Working both electrically and mechanically
  • Ongoing training given on specialist equipment and machinery
  • Monday to Friday, Afternoon Shifts, 2pm - 10pm
  • On call 1 weekend in 4
