Monday to Friday (Early Shift, Late Shift & Night Shift)

Mechanical Fitter required for an industry leading engineering and repair company based in Falmouth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are experts in the marine industry and can offer the opportunity to develop and progress.

This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Fitter and candidates form any manufacturing, industrial or engineering environment are encouraged to apply. You will need to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

The successful candidate will work within a team to complete mechanical overhauls, repair, and modification works on vessel equipment and systems.

The Mechanical Fitter Role:

· Fitting and assembling mechanical components and systems on ships

· Working with engineering specifications and drawings

· Carry out repairs on vessels

· Inspection and diagnosing of mechanical and structural issues

· Working with vessel engines, generators, compressors etc.

· Requirement to work variation of shifts in line with company requirements

Mechanical Fitter Candidate:

· Experience working as a Mechanical Fitter

· Any industrial / engineering / manufacturing background

· Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
