On offer is an exciting opportunity to join our client's engineering department on a full-time permanent basis. You'll be responsible for fitting and assembling mechanical components and systems onboard ships, ensuring systems function with accuracy and efficiency.
Our client is based at one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK, and provide a complete range of marine repair services thanks to their on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops.
Learn how to:
• Repair and assemble mechanical components and systems onboard ships.
• Install engines, pumps, valves and propulsion systems.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Ensure the smooth operation of systems and equipment.

• Experience in a mechanical fitting and maintenance environment.

The salary advertised is a guideline for this position.
£24,999 - £25,799 + Progression + Training + Overtime + Shifts + Pension
The offered remuneration will be dependent on the extent of your experience, qualifications, and skill set.
