Primary Teaching Assistant 

Location: Falmouth

Salary: £83.33 per day

Contract: Full-time

We are seeking to appoint a talented and highly motivated, permanent Primary teaching assistant to work in Primary School, preferably with experience in Reception and/ or across KS1.

Responsibilities:    

  • Guid children as a Primary Teaching Assistant, offering personalised guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.
  • Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behaviour challenges and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:    

  • Ideally a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare / Early Years
  • Experience of working in EYFS and KS1 in either nurseries or schools
  • Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions 
  • Applicants holding a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised. 
  • Demonstrated Patience and Empathy along with flexibility and adaptability
