About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shipwrights to join our client's team in Falmouth. This role involves working on high-end marine projects, performing tasks that ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. You will work on various projects, including but not limited to:
  • Installing and maintaining guard rails
  • Corking
  • Fitting and repairing port lights
  • Crafting hot tub surrounds
  • Working on lazaretto spaces
  • Installing and repairing scuppers and cleats
  • Crafting and maintaining anchor pockets
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all shipwright tasks to a high standard
  • Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to achieve project goals
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Shipwright or similar marine-based role
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
  • Familiarity with the marine industry and shipbuilding standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork
  • Experience in working on high-end marine projects is desirable
