About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shipwrights to join our client's team in Falmouth. This role involves working on high-end marine projects, performing tasks that ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. You will work on various projects, including but not limited to:
- Installing and maintaining guard rails
- Corking
- Fitting and repairing port lights
- Crafting hot tub surrounds
- Working on lazaretto spaces
- Installing and repairing scuppers and cleats
- Crafting and maintaining anchor pockets
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all shipwright tasks to a high standard
- Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to achieve project goals
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shipwright or similar marine-based role
- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Familiarity with the marine industry and shipbuilding standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
- Experience in working on high-end marine projects is desirable
