You will be working for a highly reputable and professional independent accountancy practice based in Fareham as they are looking for an experienced Audit Senior to join their Audit & Accounts team. The firm is a well-established accountancy firm, offering a variety of accountancy, audit and taxation services to its clients. Its offices are conveniently located in Fareham town centre, with the main shopping area a 5-minute walk away.

This role is integral to the audit team, ensuring audit planning, fieldwork, and completion meet standards for signing audit reports. Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and completing audits, reporting to managers and partners, preparing accounts, and other assignments. You'll also coordinate planning with clients, liaise with internal departments, build relationships with clients and third parties, and prepare accounts for non-audit clients and draft company tax computations.

The firm seeks an ACA / ACCA / AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant with at least 2 years of recent Audit and Assurance experience in an accountancy practice. Ideal candidates will have experience auditing construction, marine, and property firms, leading external audit assignments, and preparing accounts under FRS 102. Strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Knowledge of CCH is an advantage. A full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
