Join a highly reputable and professional independent accountancy practice based in Fareham. We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our Audit & Accounts team. Our well-established firm offers a variety of accountancy, audit, and taxation services to clients, with offices conveniently located in Fareham town centre, just a 5-minute walk from the main shopping area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and complete audits, ensuring audit reports meet standards.
  • Report to managers and partners, prepare accounts, and handle other assignments.
  • Coordinate planning with clients, liaise with internal departments, and build relationships with clients and third parties.
  • Prepare accounts for non-audit clients and draft company tax computations.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant with at least 2 years of recent Audit and Assurance experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Experience auditing construction, marine, and property firms, leading external audit assignments, and preparing accounts under FRS 102.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of CCH is an advantage.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential.
