F, P & A Accountant

Fareham 2 days per week up to £60k

We’re partnering with a leading wealth management firm experiencing exciting growth. As they expand their reach, they’re seeking a talented F, P & A Accountant to join the team and play a key role in their continued success.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, we are looking for an academically strong, qualified, commercially minded individual who is organised and enthusiastic.  You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative and developing environment where you’ll be able to utilise your skills and expertise to support the groups growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in the preparation of the budget and 3-year forecast, including variance analysis throughout the reporting cycle
  • Liaise with heads of department / stakeholders in the business to report on departmental performance and discuss variances to budget.
  • Provide detailed insights into monthly performance using in house software tools and other platforms, including creating reporting dashboards.
  • Assist with the integration of new business units acquired by M&A
  • Monthly / quarterly industry reporting and analysis
  • Building new processes and continually improving those currently in place, adding increased automation to reports and month end processes.
  • Involvement in M&A due diligence activity and other ad hoc projects
  • Coaching and development of junior team members

Qualifications:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified and ideally a graduate with strong academic results
  • A strong team player with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills
  • Power BI / Power Query knowledge / experience desirable
  • Energy and passion, with the ability to be self-led to drive and iterate positive change and improvement
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to communicate with departments across the business, at all levels
  • M&A experience is real plus!
