- Payroll management, handling weekly and monthly payroll
- Sales and purchase ledger oversight, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
- Following up on outstanding payments and chasing debt while maintaining good relationships
- Making sure invoices are issues and paid on time and payments are processed
- Keeping cash flow in check with regular bank reconciliations
- Assisting with management accounts – reporting and financial analysis
- System uploads, managing data flow between finance systems
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Interim Management Accountant / Management Accountant / Finance Manager / Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Assistant Accountant
- Experience with managing payroll processes through Sage Payroll
- A solid understanding of ledger tasks (credits, debits and reconciliations)
- Management accounts knowledge is desirable
- A hands-on approach – someone who’s pragmatic, diplomatic and able to adapt to change
- Hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days from home)
