Management Accountant
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Management Accountant to join a fast growing business in Whiteley. In this pivotal role you will provide the best levels of management accountant support to the Head of Finance as the business continues its rapid growth and expansion plans.Â
Key Responsibilities
- Provision of monthly management accounts and board pack.
- Analysing financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- VAT/PAYE reporting and compliance.
- Analysing and controlling costs within the organisation.
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Streamlining financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with other departments or business units to support their financial needs and objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- 2-3 years experience in a Management Accountant role or looking to transition from practice into commerce.
- Able to mentor / develop a studier and support senior leadership team
- Experience implementing process changes
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Effective communication skills, both written & verbal
- Confident, approachable and a hands-on approach
- Adaptable to change and new business practices
