Venture Recruitment Partners is working exclusively with a Fareham construction business in their search for a driven Management Accountant to join a friendly and vibrant finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will offer great progression into a Finance Manager position as you grow. This role is office-based: 5 days a week in the on-site, 40 hours a week. Key responsibilities; 

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conducted variance analysis, investigated discrepancies, and assisted in preparing insightful reports for management.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of bank and other key accounts.
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of process improvements within the finance department.

Key skills & experience:

  • Newly-Qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage)
