Description
Management Accountant:
- Prepare the group's revenue budget, monthly forecasts, and management accounts.
- Lead cash flow forecasting and work with the Financial Accountant on funding body returns.
- Provide regular analysis of actuals versus budget and collaborate with budget holders to ensure effective management.
- Reconcile payroll data for accuracy, upload payroll data to finance systems, and ensure accurate staff cost forecasting.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support various functions across the organization.
- Cover key duties of other finance team roles when needed.
- Maintain constructive relationships with external stakeholders and promote the organization's professional standards.
Profile
Management Accountant:
The ideal candidate will be a CIMA/ACCA Part-qualified accountant or possess significant relevant experience. You'll bring strong financial management and reporting skills, combined with the ability to work collaboratively with decision-makers and stakeholders. Excellent Excel skills, including proficiency with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIF, are essential, alongside a proactive, adaptable attitude and strong communication abilities. Experience within the education or public sector is a bonus but not required.
