We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join a dynamic company in Fareham.
In this role, you will manage key financial processes, provide detailed financial reports, and support strategic decision-making across the business.
You must be qualified with CIMA or ACCA to be considered for this post!
Key Responsibilities as Management Accountant:
- Prepare and produce detailed monthly management accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and monthly journals.
- Produce VAT returns and ensure timely submission of all financial reports to regulatory authorities.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Monitor cash flow, review bank payments and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in management accounting, including preparing financial reports and conducting reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and VAT returns.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to work effectively within a team and with other departments.
