Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to enhance financial performance
Ownership of key elements of the balance sheet, including deferred income, WIP and debtors
Delivering detailed and accurate forecast data, ensuring insights support decision-making
Working with Project Managers to update forecasts, challenge financial impacts of delays and identify risks and opportunities
Reviewing operating costs, budgets and actions to optimise spending and ensure targets are met
Providing financial analysis to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability
Optimising workflows, identifying efficiencies and implementing process improvements

What you will need:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as Project Accountant / Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Accountant / Finance Manager
Industry experience with exposure to projects and/or contract management would be beneficial
A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving improvements
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables (Power BI experience is a plus)
