CMA Recruitment Group are working with a rapidly growing business based in Fareham, Hampshire. They are looking to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their longstanding, friendly team.
What will the Purchase Ledger Assistant role involve?
- Process a high volume of supplier invoices, including matching to orders and delivery notes.
- Carry out regular supplier statement reconciliations.
- Run payment runs on a monthly basis, ensuring all supplier invoices are uploaded.
- Policing correct ledger coding and department approvals.
- Dealing with supplier queries over the phone and via email.
- Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager.
Suitable Candidate for the Purchase Ledger Assistant vacancy:
- Relevant finance experience within accounts payable.
- Educated with a relevant accounting qualification - AAT or equivalent.
- Outstanding communication skills are essential both written and verbal.
- The ability to work off your own initiative and a strong team ethos is essential.
