They pride themselves on advanced online protection and offer a wide range of security tools and applications to keep their users safe online.They are seeking a revenue accountantto join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills to play a key role in revenue recognition, reconciliation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities: RevenueRecognition & Accounting:- Accurately record revenue transactions in line with FRS102 and company policies.
- Conduct daily reconciliations of merchant processing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.
- Analyse actual cash received vs. expected revenue to identify trends and variances.
- Reconcile revenue data with third-party systems for accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between recorded revenue and system reports.
- Manage revenue cash flow forecasting to support business needs.
- Work with the billing team to minimise order-to-cash times.
- Perform regular cash sweeps of merchant accounts.
- Implement process improvements to enhance revenue tracking efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving revenue collection strategies.
- Prepare monthly revenue reports for stakeholders.
- Support forecasting and budgeting with revenue trend analysis.
- Model the financial implications of merchant processing agreements.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail.
- Advanced spreadsheet and IT literacy.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Xero and SaaS businesses is desirable.
- Highly organised with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Salary up to £45,000 (depending on experience).
- Up to 10% annual performance-based bonus.
