As an Assistant Fund Accountant in Fareham, you’ll have the opportunity to manage your own client portfolio, gain exposure to diverse financial processes, and grow with a company that invests in its people. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing your own client portfolio, ensuring their financial records are up-to-date and accurate
Performing bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations and maintenance of accounts
Preparing cash flow forecasts to assist clients in managing their finances
Compiling and preparing statutory accounts
Producing detailed financial reports
Liaising with stakeholders to address financial queries and provide clear solutions

What you will need:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Accounts Semi Senior / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant /
To be studying towards an accounting qualification AAT / ACCA / ACA / CIMA
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders and address financial queries effectively
A desire to progress your career in a supportive, growth-focused environment, whether you’re stepping out of practice or continuing in industry
