As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conducting simulations and analyses to ensure designs meet stringent performance and safety requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
- Assisting in the prototyping and testing of mechanical systems, analysing results, and refining designs based on findings.
- Providing technical support during the production phase, addressing any design-related issues that arise.
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
