Reed is working with a well know manufacturer in the search for a Pricing Analyst to support the company's commercial decision-making through insightful data analysis and modelling. This role involves close collaboration with various areas of the business including Marketing, Finance, and Sales. The successful candidate will be involved in developing pricing models and reports, as well as pricing strategies across the business and EMEA region.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams. Developing pricing strategies and accurate reports and analysis
  • Utilise data analytics to identify trends and performance, to help with commercial data driven recommendations.
  • Make changes to improve quality of data and reports., developing and improving the pricing strategies across the teams. 
  • Working with the Senior Pricing Manager in the implementation and monitoring of pricing and channel strategy.
  • Drive simplification and system optimisation for pricing management processes and practices.
  • Support Global, EMEA Regional, or local market teams on ad hoc initiatives, which may include market-level initiatives, pricing projects, or change management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with COGNOS, Tableau, and data visualisation software.
  • Familiarity with R, SAS, SQL, Python, or similar tools.
  • Preferred experience in Hyperion, Power BI, or similar analytic tools.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to present complex analysis clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a pressurised and changing environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Analytics or a related field.
  • Experience in Pricing or Marketing is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment is beneficial.
  • A relevant university degree in business, management, economics, or marketing.
