HGV Class 2 Driver

Key Recruitment are currently seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers ideally with HIAB licence or alternatively full training can be provided to work for our client based in Wickham. Our client is very well established in their field, and they pride themselves on their excellent products and service.

The Role

As a driver, you will be the face of the company and service often serve as the first point of contact with their customers. You will be completing approximately 5-6 drops per day around the M4 (London, Reading) and Poole areas. You will be liaising with your team and ensuring the delivery service run smoothly.

Duties

• Load and unload cargo, securing it appropriately for transport.
• Delivering timber products and building materials.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Must have HGV Class 2 (CAT C licence)
• Experience with HIAB/Cranes is ideal OR FULL TRAINING CAN BE PROVIDED BY THE COMPANY.
• Must have a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Numerate, literate & computer literate
• Team Player and Motivated
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.

Hours of work

Monday-Friday 06:00-15:30

Competitive salary of £30,000 per year (equivalent to £13.73 per hour)

This role will be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate
