Chef - Contract Catering - Fareham - Monday-Friday - £14.78 per hour, 40 hours

Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry that supply catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef for their site close to Fareham.

This Company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress. The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday 0700-1530 so the hours are amazing.
The role is working in a staff restaurant alongside a Head Chef cooking meals for the staff to a high standard.

Please Note - This is a high security site so there will be a vigorous security check before you commence employment so you must have the ability to obtain a clear DBS and have the correct ID.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef will Include:
To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
To support manager in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget
To be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge
To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control
To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations

What You Need To Be a Successful Chef:
Previous Experience as a Chef - In a similar environment
NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
