Inspector

  • Salary 33,990 + 20% UPLIFT for Nights 40,788
  • Fixed Term Contract - 12 months.
  • Working Pattern: 40 hours Monday to Thursday - Nights

Ensure that products meet the requirements of customers, quality standards and airworthiness authorities. Parts are inspected as per drawings, documentation, routings and required standards as defined using a variety of inspection methods and equipment during the manufacturing life cycle.

  • Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the Company Values & Behaviours.
  • Ensure documentation/routings are completed and processed correctly in a timely manner.
  • Containment and securitisation activities for checking parts in process or in stores when required.
  • Provide cover where required when demand dictates as requested by Team Leader within the employees competency
  • Ability to set, run and program CMM inspection software and equipment
  • Experience in a range of manual inspection techniques and equipment
  • Contributes by driving and sustaining business objectives and continuous improvement within the department
  • Maintains a high standard of housekeeping at all times as set by us
  • Utilise SHE UK's SAP system by tracking routings, data entry and produce final release documentation ensuring product is conforming to standard.
  • Input, record and analyse data in varying formats including FAl requirements, self-inspection, databases, SAP, use of Microsoft suite.
  • Adherence to SQCDP| quality requirements and improvements
  • Other tasks which, from time to time may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business and support the department goals and objectives

Desirable

  • Experience and familiar with company procedures and processes within an organisation accredited to ISO, CAA, BSI or equivalent standards within Manufacturing sector for a minimum of 3 years
  • Apprenticeship within the Manufacturing sector - Aerospace, Automotive or similar industry
