The Position

DBS is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our dedicated broadcast team. Working closely in a small highly skilled team, you will be responsible for the assembly and manufacture of bespoke broadcast products for use at world class events, ensuring alignment to existing production schedules and to the highest quality level.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing of prototype, low and mid volume production runs.
  • Delivery of products in accordance with the production schedule and customer requirements.
  • Manufacturing of first off units, in support of New Product Introduction engineering projects.
  • Conduct inspections of products and elevate deviations in a timely manner.
  • Assist and support the greater team in resolution of day-to-day issues.

About You

We are seeking candidates that are looking to develop their existing technical skills within an electronic assembly environment, if you have the core skills and attributes for this role, then we will provide additional training and development to ensure that you continue to grow your professional career within a market leading organisation. Ideally your experience will include electronic or electrical production assembly experience, including but not limited to, PCB soldering, producing wiring looms and crimping of aligned components. Qualifications within an associated field will be highly regarded but is not considered essential.
