Job Description:

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Design Engineer to join their dynamic team, specialising in residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, with hands-on experience using AutoCAD and Revit software. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Structural Design Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed structural designs and drawings for residential projects using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Analyse and interpret architectural designs to provide effective structural solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure designs meet required specifications.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project requirements and design needs.
  • Prepare detailed reports, design specifications, and documentation for submission.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations.

Structural Design Engineer - Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural design for residential projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
