  • My client is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join their team with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering environment.
  • Candidates should have experience operating, setting, and running Mazatrol CNC Lathes of 2 Axis and/or 5 axis Mazak mills in an AS9100 Rev D setting.
  • The role requires good knowledge in tool setting, the ability to adjust machine offset coordinates, and experience working with high tensile and ultra-high tensile materials.

My client are looking for an experienced CNC Grinder to join their team.

  • Experience in operating, setting and running of Mazatrol CNC Lathes of 2 Axis and also using driven tool Lathes and or experience in using 5 axis Mazak mills in an AS9100 Rev D environment.
  • Good knowledge in tool setting and tooling requirements.
  • Ability to adjust machine offset coordinates to repeat correct manufacturing requirements.
  • Used to working with High Tensile and Ultra High Tensile materials.
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Route Cards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out 1st off inspection from route cards and fill out paperwork correctly.
  • Must be vigilant and diligent with a good attention to detail and able to maintain high standards of work through high volume batches.
  • Used to working to tight tolerances on all types of materials.
  • Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in their working area.
  • To be able to complete accurately and in a timely fashion all relevant paperwork.
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience within engineering environment.

Proven ability to understand the use of handheld measuring equipment such as:

  • Micrometres, Thread Micrometers, Groove Micrometers (Metric & Imperial)
  • Bore clock
  • Air gauges
  • Height gauges
  • Plug gauges and screw plug gauges
  • Comparators
  • MPJ
  • Competitive rates of pay,
  • Ongoing training and development,
