As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for the manual lathe work of components & parts for new Aerospace projects. You will use your experience and your eye for detail to deliver high quality parts. What You'll do:

As a Manual Machinist, you will:

  • Effectively demonstrate lathe machining expertise to meet business expectation
  • Use your understanding of manual grinding, turning and further lathe knowledge to deliver best practice
  • Manual turning of predominantly in process parts with a right first time cut
  • Be working on multiple Aerospace projects and components

What We're Looking For:

  • Ideally an engineering apprenticeship, BTEC, diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience with lathe work/turning.
  • Ability to showcase technical understanding surrounding manual machining
  • Good team player and self-motivated to work as an individual.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Eagerness for career progression.

What else do you need to know?

  • Full training is provided at every step for the right individual
  • The hours for this role are on Days (07:00-15:30 Mon-Thu, 07:00-12:30 Fri). Option for afternoon shift
  • Substantial overtime available on evenings and weekends once fully trained
